Power & Water Notes
The villa is powered ~70% by solar, including battery backup.
High-energy appliances (A/C, laundry, oven) run on grid power—please use mindfully during peak heat.
Power interruptions can occur during high season; backup systems are in place to help.
WiFi Information
Network: Casa del Viento
Password: PuraVida
Reliable for streaming & remote work. Weather may affect speeds (normal for Costa Rica). Backup systems help maintain consistency.
Air Conditioning
Every bedroom has its own A/C unit with a remote.
Cool air fills the room quickly when the door is closed.
Please turn off A/C when not in use or when leaving the villa.
Keep doors/windows closed while A/C is running.
Pool & Deck Safety
Surfaces may be slippery when wet—use caution.
There is a steep drop-off beyond the deck railing. Supervise children and pets closely.
No glass is permitted on or near the pool deck.
Wildlife & Insects
Costa Rica is full of beautiful wildlife! You may see:
Geckos
Butterflies & insects
Howler monkeys
Coatis
Wild horses
Keep doors closed at night to reduce bugs inside.
